Val-Net


In March 2012 begins EU Life Long Learning Programme KA1-ECETA2 - supported project

 „Towards an integrated system for validation of non-formal and informal learning: initiating a national network of cooperation and information exchange”.

The project will run from 01/03/2012 to 28/02/2013


Val –Net Project objectives:

 

·        Raising  awareness of validation of non-formal and informal learning result outcomes, the European Union's policy framework and policy framework for the development in Latvia;

·        Creating Partnership between different levels of education (policy level and practice level);

·        Creation of sustainable information exchange system - a nationwide cooperative network creation.

 

The project target group consists of individuals and organizations that are involved in formal, non- formal and informal education - both - providers and users as well as policy makers and decision makers.

 

In the frame of  project there will be organized two national conferences, four regional forums, as well as workshops and roundtables devoted to the theme of the project – validation of  formal, non-formal and informal learning outcomes, linking general, vocational and higher education, lifelong learning and the labour market.

 

Val-Net project is implemented by five partners:


The Latvian National Library (LNL);
The Training and Consulting Centre "Baltic Bright";
The State Education Content Center (SECC);
The Latvian Adult Education Association (LAEA);
Gulbenes library.
